Parent Teacher Association

About the PTA

The main objective of the PTA is to raise funds that can be used to support and enhance the education, school experience and social development of children attending St Joseph’s Primary School. In addition the PTA aim to be a forum to enable the sharing of views on extra-curricular matters between parents and teaching staff.

Who we are

The PTA is a group of dedicated parents and teachers who volunteer their time to support St Joseph’s Primary School by raising funds at various events throughout the school year and support other extra-curricular events that benefit the children and parents of the school.

Current officers includes:

  • Chair: Gemma Blake
  • Vice Chair: Sinéad Walsh
  • Treasurer: Martin Reynolds
  • Secretary: Karen Galway and Zita Hale

Upcoming events

Last year the PTA had one of its best years of fundraising and was therefore able to hand over a cheque for £7,500 to the school. This year we would really like to reach the ambitious target of £10,000 - with your help it is possible!

In order to do this we have a wide range of events. These are listed below but you’ll also be able to find them on the events calendar on the iclass app. We can only achieve this with your continued support.
