On Wednesday afternoon, St. Joseph's played their first soccer game in almost two years!
St. Matthew's provided the opposition in what proved to be an exciting game at Campbell College. After absorbing a lot of pressure and repelling many scoring opportunities from St.Matthew's, Nevin popped up with an excellent goal, late in the game, to give St.Joesph's a 1-0 victory.
A very enjoyable occassion played in the right spirit and we hope to play some similar games with St.Matthew's before competive games restart.
A big thank you as always to Paul Browne, who drove us to and from the game in the Scout bus.
Also, many thanks to Mark McKee and Campbell College for being very welcoming hosts and providing us with use of their excellent facilities (and some very tasty shortbread!).
