Parent Update: 22 02 2021

22-February-21

Dear Parents/Carers

Following the latest communication from the Department of Education, I can confirm that pupils in P1 to P3 will return to full-time face-to-face teaching from 8 March 2021 for 2 weeks and resume remote learning from the week beginning 22 March until the start of the Easter holidays; they will then return to full-time face-to-face teaching after the Easter holidays. Please note that the school will be closed for all pupils on 17 March (St Patrick’s Day).

Remote learning at home will continue to be provided to P4 - 7 pupils, rather than face to face teaching in school, until Easter. What happens after that is dependent on the public health position at the time.

The school will continue to remain open during this period for vulnerable children and the children of key workers to facilitate ‘supervised learning’.

As always, if you need to contact me directly about any of the above, please email me using either stjoesps@gmail.com or the contacts link on the school website.

Kind regards

Mr Donaldson
