On Tuesday, P5 had a special treat as part of their topic ‘Our Place in the Universe’. They had a virtual webinar with Jon Chase, the Science Rapper. This was part of the NI Science Festival which is currently going on, with lots of events for adults and children.
They joined classes from schools across Northern Ireland to learn more about the solar system through raps. They learnt about the dark side of the moon, that some moons in the solar system are bigger than planets and that the biggest mountain in our solar system is a volcano on Mars!
James in P5A was inspired to create a poster about all his favourite facts from the show.
On Seesaw, Helina and Diana from P5A commented, “…We tried out the raps, they were absolutely amazing!π€πΆππ”
