This week has been another eventful week for lots of boys and girls at home!
A few weeks ago, we heard that pupils from P5A were involved in a project called Poetry in Motion, working with poet Linda Hutchinson. Three St.Joseph’s pupils: Eimhear, Patrick and Neeya were asked to read their poems in a special celebration event in The Ulster Hall, which was unfortunately cancelled due to the current circumstances. We heard from Neeya and now it’s time for Eimhear to share her fantastic poem with us!
Do you dance? Have you ever thought of joining a dance lesson? Matthew in Primary 6 decided this was a great idea and he joined in with his sister’s practice this week. Zoe is very lucky to have a new dance partner! What do you think of Matthew’s new skills?
The Hutcheson family have been busy this week! Isla in P4, made a paper mache and play dough model of her school project, Polar Regions and Niamh in P2, made a paper mache and junk model of her school project, Space. Their little brother, Hamish, joined in too, with some help from their Dad, amazing!
The Keenan family have also had an action-packed week! They decided to take their canoe out for its maiden voyage and created their very own outdoor cinema and campfire! Niamh also found time for her numeracy work (measuring volumes) and spent some quality time with their dog, Skye!
