Well the dust has settled, in arguably the most important election held this year!
Congratulations to all the pupils who put themselves forward for election - it takes some nerve to stand in front of your class, argue your case and accept the outcome so graciously!
Elected to the Council this year are Oscar (P4A) Conor (P4B) Catalina (P5A),Cara (P5B), James (P6A), Ben (P6B), Michael (P7A) and Matthew (P7B) – a great team to represent the ‘voice’ of the pupils!
The first meeting has already taken place, with Michael and Matthew elected as Chair and Vice-Chair respectively.
There are plenty of issues to discuss this year; as a result, the next meeting will take place on Thursday 3 December.
