You’ll be delighted to learn that last Friday’s 14 Marathon Challenge was a resounding success for the pupils and staff of St Joseph’s Primary School. Not only did our little feet achieve the amazing feat of covering the marathon distance a total of 14 times, we raised a staggering £4920 for school funds. This was all down to the hard work of our fantastic pupils, the support of our wonderful parents and families and the commitment of our staff and PTA who all came together to make this event so worthwhile.
Congratulations to the 10 intrepid Marathon relay runners who completed the weekend of fundraising with an additional 2 marathons on Sunday and many thanks to all the supporters who cheered them along the route.
We will invest your donations wisely in the weeks ahead to refresh our playtime equipment and add to our games and PE resources. Every pupil in St Joseph’s will benefit as a result of your support!
